MP Series Additive FCC additive
Applicable Scope
Propylene additive is a promoter for selectively enhancing FCC propylene yield.
Characteristics
MP051 is a new generation additive for enhancing propylene yield during FCC process.
Design Philosophy
The key technical method to obviously enhance the selectivity of propylene was by maximizing the ratio of C3 to C4 in LPG. According to this, the propylene selectivity of the active component was further strengthened, a new matrix was invented and a new additive preparation method was developed. Consequently, the propylene selectivity and the hydro-thermal stability of the catalyst were increased as well as its anti-attrition property.

Commercial Reference
The commercial application results showed that,compared with 10% octane improver added, the LPG yield increased by 1.42-1.5% when 4% MP051 added, the propylene content increased by 3-5.89%, the yield of propylene increased over 0.8%. Compared with no additive adding instance,the content of propylene in LPG increased by 5-7% and the propylene yield increased over 1.35 %.
