MLC-500 Series Catalyst FCC catalyst

Applicable Scope

MLC-500 catalyst is applied to all types of feedstocks.

Characteristics

MLC-500 catalyst has higher LCO and gasoline yields, excellent metal tolerance, good hydrothermal stability, high bottom conversion ability and good coke selectivity.

Design Philosophy

Catalyst design philosophy is to enhance cracking ability for heavy oil, to limit further cracking of intermediate fractions, and to make reasonable adjustment on matrix/zeolite ratio and acid distribution. Main technological measures include: increasing surface cracking activity of large and middle pores and controlling activity of small pores; strengthening cracking ability to heavy oil through increasing conversion activity and selectivity of the matrix; adopting ultra-stable Y molecular sieve and adjusting its acid distribution to make full use of its macromolecule cracking characteristic and limit its cracking function to intermediate fractions.

Commercial Reference

The first industrial application was conducted on SINOPEC Cangzhou Petrochemical, the test results show that using the MLC-500 catalyst and adopting the sectional material feeding component selective cracking process in the processing of raw materials, to keep the amount of basic unchanged, diesel gasoline ratio is increased by 0.44, the yield of light oil increased 3.25 percentage points, the total liquid yield increased by 4.63 percentage points, reaching more than 91 gasoline RON.

MLC-500 Catalyst was applied in SINOPEC refineries such as Jinan Petrochemical, Cangzhou Petrochemical, Gaoqiao Petrochemical, Zhenhai Refining&Petrochemical, Guangzhou Petrochemical and Maoming Petrochemical, Qingyang Oil Field, etc.
