GOR Series Catalyst FCC catalyst
GOR series catalysts are family catalysts which can be suitable for catalytic cracking installation with all kinds of feedstock, and can reduce gasoline olefin content.
GOR series catalysts have good bottoms cracking ability and coke selectivity, can reduce olefin content in FCC gasoline prominently by 10-15 v%, and keep gasoline RON non-reduction.
GOR series first generation olefin-reducing catalyst adopts modified Y molecular sieve, MOY, as its main active component, which is modified with unique oxide and endowed with excellent hydrogen transfer activity, fine coke selectivity and excellent cracking ability to heavy oil. The catalyst has high activity and strength, which can realize selective hydrogen transfer reaction and ensure effective utilization of hydrogen resource in feedstock and reasonable distribution in product.
The second generation catalyst has the following characters. Effective match of selective hydrogen transfer activity and cracking activity is ensured through performance improvement and blending of active components. Good selective hydrogen transfer activity can ensure olefin-reducing effect to gasoline, while high cracking activity can increase conversion with heavy oil. New type matrix is adopted to control pore distribution and increase medium pore proportion to enhance heavy oil cracking ability, increase yield of diesel oil, and restrain coking at the same time. Acid distribution of catalyst is adjusted properly to reduce coke and dry gas.
The third generation olefin-reducing catalyst, GOR-III, is developed to further improve olefin-reduction performance. Through further modification of main active components, selective molecular sieve and matrix, olefin-reducing margin and cracking ability is further enhanced, hydrothermal stability of catalyst is elevated, coke selectivity and product distribution is improved.

The commercial results of GOR catalyst which were applied in SINOPEC refineries such as Gaoqiao Petrochemical, Qingdao Petrochemical, Wuhan Petrochemical and Jinan Petrochemical are listed in Table 2~4 respectively. The results show that GOR Series catalyst has the ability to reduce olefin in FCC gasoline prominently by 10 v%. Combined with operation techniques, olefin content in FCC gasoline can be steadily controlled under 35 v%, while content of isomerized alkane and aromatics can be increased and yield of LPG keeps at a high level.
